Mission Statement
The objective of the San Joaquin Jr. Rams Organization is to inspire the youth regardless of race, creed, or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholastic improvement, and physical fitness, while familiarizing all youth with the fundamentals of football and cheer.
The San Joaquin Jr. Rams Football and Cheer are committed to excellence; motivating and challenging participants through a partnership of players, cheerleaders, coaches, parents, and community. Success for our young people will be defined as the self-satisfaction in knowing they have done the best that they
are capable of doing.
Our program will always be about the players and cheerleaders and not plays.. We will create and nurture an atmosphere where our players and cheerleaders understand that a combination of hard work, a positive attitude, and a little fun mixed in, are the keys to success.
Our commitment to our community will be open and honest in our communication, practice, individual integrity, responsibility, and good sportsmanship. We will treat each child, parent, and community volunteer with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
Regarding Football and Cheer
San Joaquin Jr. Rams Football (SJJR) is dedicated to providing a fun, safe, character-building Football and Cheer program for children aged 7 through 14. Children from San Joaquin County communities are eligible to join the program. Saint Mary's High School in Stockton serves as Ram's home field for practices and home games.
From the first day of practice to the final Awards Banquet, the children and parents involved with the program enjoy a fun and exciting sport. Parents are able to see their children grow in physical ability, positive character traits, self-confidence, and self-esteem while competing with other teams within the conference.
